Since 1980
Tercocer was founded in 1980 in Molins de Rei, on the banks of the Llobregat, where the clay of the valley has fed the kilns for generations. What began as a small terracotta workshop has grown into a Mediterranean reference in the manufacture of natural materials for architecture.
More than forty years later we are still in the same place, faithful to the material that defines us: fired earth, natural stone and hand-worked mosaic. Each piece keeps the character of its geological origin and the mark of the craftsman who finished it.

The craft
We work with three families of natural material. Terracotta is extruded and pressed from Llobregat clay, then kiln-fired until its earthy tone is set. Mediterranean stone —slate, travertine, quartzite— is selected at the quarry and finished piece by piece. Mosaic is composed by hand, tessera by tessera, so that no two compositions are ever alike.

From the Molins de Rei workshop we work alongside architecture studios, interior designers and specifiers across the Mediterranean. We advise on the choice of material, format and finish, and produce bespoke series when the project calls for it.
