Privacy Policy

At Tercocer we treat your data with the same care we apply to selecting our natural materials. Here we explain what information we collect, for what purpose, and what rights you are entitled to under the General Data Protection Regulation.

Last updated: June 2026. This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data that users provide through this website, our contact forms and any other means of communication with Tercocer.

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for processing your personal data is Tercocer, a manufacturer of natural materials (clay, terracotta, stone and mosaic) since 1980, with registered offices in Molins de Rei, Barcelona (Spain). You may contact us through the details provided in the final section of this policy or on our contact page.

2. Data we collect

We only process the data you voluntarily provide. Depending on the channel used, this may include:

  • Identification data: first and last name.
  • Contact data: email address and, where applicable, telephone number.
  • Professional data: company, studio or activity, when provided in a quote or sample request.
  • Message content: the information you choose to include in the body of your enquiry.
  • Technical browsing data collected on an aggregated basis (IP address, device type and browser) for statistical purposes.

We do not collect special categories of data (health, ideology, racial origin or similar) nor do we process data of minors.

3. Purpose of processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To handle and respond to the enquiries, information requests, quotes and sample requests you send us.
  • To manage the commercial relationship and project follow-up with architects, interior designers and distributors.
  • To send communications related to your request and, where you expressly consent, information about new products and collections.
  • To maintain and improve the security and operation of the website.

4. Legal basis

The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds, as applicable:

  • The consent of the data subject, granted by completing and submitting our forms or by agreeing to receive communications.
  • The performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (for example, preparing a quote).
  • The legitimate interest of Tercocer in managing its commercial relationships and ensuring the security of its systems.

5. Retention period

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to handle your request and, thereafter, for the periods legally required to address any liabilities arising from the processing. When the data is no longer necessary and there is no legal obligation to retain it, it will be securely deleted.

6. Recipients and data sharing

Your data will not be shared with third parties except where legally required. Only the service providers that assist us (web hosting, email management or analytics tools) may access it, acting as data processors under contract and with the safeguards required by law. No international data transfers outside the European Economic Area are carried out without adequate safeguards.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

As the data subject, you may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access: to know which of your personal data we are processing.
  • Rectification: to request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: to request deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary.
  • Objection: to object to the processing of your data on grounds relating to your particular situation.
  • Restriction: to request the limitation of processing in the cases provided for by law.
  • Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdrawal of consent: to revoke at any time the consent given, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise these rights, send us a request to the contact address indicated below, together with a document proving your identity. Likewise, if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Data security

Tercocer applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security suited to the risk, protecting your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. We periodically review these measures to maintain their effectiveness.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legislative changes or to changes in our activity. We recommend reviewing it periodically; the date of the last update appears at the beginning of this document.
